Scientific / Medical Communications Associate

San Diego, CA

  • Samumed is currently looking for a Medical Communications Associate to join the team.
  • The Medical Communications Associate will participate in the production and review of medical communications for congresses, journals and scientific exchange.
  • S/he will primarily support the Medical Affairs team and will interface with the Preclinical, Clinical and Biostatistics functions when necessary.
  • S/he will provide operational support for scientific review and copy approval, ensuring timely deliverables against deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to understand medical and scientific content are essential.
  • The Medical Communications Associate will work across multiple therapy areas.
  • Reporting to Sr. Director of Medical Affairs, the position is a full-time role in Samumed’s San Diego office.

Manager, Clinical Quality Assurance

San Diego, CA

  • Samumed is looking for an experienced and talented Manager, Clinical Quality Assurance to join its Quality Assurance team.
  • This position will be responsible for establishing and managing processes to control the quality of clinical studies conducted by Samumed.
  • Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to the agency regulations, GxP, Industry Guidelines, local regulations, and internal policies and procedures for the conduct of clinical trials.
  • This position works closely with Clinical Development, Data Management, other supporting areas/teams as, well as site investigators and coordinators to ensure study compliance.
  • This position will be based in Samumed’s San Diego office.

Senior Medical Science Liaison (Western U.S. Region)

Remote (Western U.S. Region)

  • Samumed, LLC is looking for an experienced and talented Senior Medical Science Liaison (SrMSL) to join its Medical Affairs Team.
  • The SrMSL will be responsible for developing professional relationships with thought leaders, clinical investigators, and academic centers through provision of scientific information and disease state education related to Samumed products.
  • Strong therapeutic expertise and experience, especially in immunology, dermatology, and/or orthopedics is desirable.
  • The SrMSL will be focused on late phase products as the Samumed portfolio develops.  
  • Regionally-based and reporting to a regional Director MSL, the SrMSL will also support Home Office projects and teams.
  • For this position, the supported territory will include the western U.S., with a home base preferentially located in the San Francisco Bay Area, Portland, Seattle, Las Vegas, or Los Angeles.
