Scientist, Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance

  • Samumed is currently looking for a talented Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance (DSPV) Scientist to join its team.
  • The DSPV Scientist will report to the Vice President of DSPV and will provide scientific expertise to DSPV department for Samumed’s clinical development program.
  • The individual in this position will conduct case processing activities and aggregate data review for Samumed’s clinical drugs to support product safety and compliance with global drug safety regulations and departmental procedures.
  • S/he will contribute to the triage, case review, narrative writing, analysis of similar events of the Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSR) and Periodic Reports for Samumed investigational products.
  • S/he will provide pharmacovigilance oversight for Samumed’s products, including safety scientific input for safety surveillance, signal detection, benefit-risk assessment, and risk management activities.

Associate Director / Director, Drug Safety Operations

San Diego, CA

  • Samumed is currently looking for a talented Associate Director / Director, Drug Safety Operations to join its team.
  • This position will report to the Vice President, Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance (DSPV) and will provide  leadership and direction to the DSPV department for adverse event case management, oversight of maintenance of drug safety vendors, safety compliance and inspection readiness, and cross functional collaboration to support risk management and pharmacovigilance activities for the entire Samumed clinical development program.

CMC Coordinator

San Diego, CA

  • We are seeking a responsible, dynamic, creative, and highly motivated CMC Coordinator to join our CMC department. 
  • The primary responsibilities of the position are to oversee stability programs at contract manufacturing organizations and contract testing laboratories to support clinical and commercial products. This includes designing and creating stability studies in an established data base, overseeing ongoing testing, entering analytical data, analyzing results, generating stability summaries and reporting on stability programs.

Medical Director, Oncology Clinical Scientist

  • The SrMSL will be focused on late phase products as the Samumed portfolio develops.  
  • Regionally-based and reporting to a regional Director MSL, the SrMSL will also support Home Office projects and teams.
